After five years doing molecular biology research related to diabetes in Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of Chicago, I joined Dr. Olopade's lab at the end of year 2004. Here I am studying the structure and function of BRCA1, a tumor suppressor gene that predispose to breast and ovarian cancers, using molecular biology and bioinformatics techniques.
